Tigo Nivushe is a mobile lending product that’s easily accessible via the Tigo Pesa mobile money platform. Tigo Pesa customers who are registered and sufficiently active on Tigo Pesa can borrow amounts ranging from TZS 1,000 to TZS 2,000,000 depending on their requirements and eligibility.

The Tigo Nivushe credit service was launched in 2015 and is a popular short-term lending option that’s available via USSD by dialing *150*01#.

Tigo Nivushe loan product is operated by financial technology company JUMO and underwritten by Absa Bank in collaboration with Tigo Pesa.
