Motor include is an insurance product specifically designed for vehicles which includes Car, Motorcycle, Bajaj, Bus, Truck, Trailer, Tractor, Excavator with tires and Forklift.

Motor insurance covers the customer for a period of 1 year from the date Insurance was bought.

Apart from the Value Added Tax (VAT), no additional transactional charges are applied when a customer purchases motor insurance.

Dial *150*01#, Select Financial Services (7), >> (3) Insurance >> (2) Motor Insurance and then select insurance company of your choice.

Premium will be paid via Tigo Pesa upon purchase of the policy.

Through the new electronic system for the motor insurance service, the customer will be able to confirm the information about the purchase of his/her insurance through the TIRAMIS system and will also receive a short message (SMS) with information confirming his purchase of insurance through the insurer he/she chose.

The policy limit depends on the loss suffered as stated in terms and conditions for this insurance policy.

Customer will not be covered in cases where terms and conditions will not be adhered.

Yes, the contract can be renewed upon the needs of the customer and after the expiry of the one-year contractual period.

Customer should notify insurance company at the time of event by selecting claims section in the Tigo Pesa menu and follow the leads until completion.

  • Select Motor Insurance (2)
  • Select Insurance company.
  • Select Claims then follow instructions.
